Based in Melbourne’s South East, we pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and attention to detail. We complete minor repairs to full restorations. The team shares an impressive 60 years of experience in the trade.
We specialise in damage repair, and understand how to move, shape and de-dent metal. Whether it be a saxophone neck, a damaged trumpet or even a non-musical antique – we can repair it to be near-new! Our workshop is also specialises in machining and have many years experience offering repairs such as tenon replacements and parts manufacture.

Aaron Ebert – Director
Brian Ebert commenced his apprenticeship in the early 1970’s under well-renowned Melbourne instrument technician Brian Murphy. Brian established Brass N’ Woodwind Workshop in 1989 and the workshop has grown from strength to strength since. Brian offers his mentorship and a lending hand when the workshop is snowed under.
Patrick Watkins completed his work experience with us in 2015 and has worked with us since. He is a brass technician with keen eye for detail and has some formidable cornet playing skills.
Michael Ebert began working with us in 2021 – he is our woodwind technician with a particular focus on clarinets and saxophone.
